Bogard Construction provided CM/GC services with Sutter’s team for the Special Procedures Suite renovation project at Sutter’s main hospital facilities in Santa Cruz. The project includes a renovation to 7,400 SF of existing building space, as well as the addition of 2,300 SF of new building, and is comprised of three OR’s, procedure space, patient stations, labs, pharmacy, lounge, PACU offices and general support facility space.
The project utilizes an “Integrated Project Delivery†(IPD) method, which integrates people, systems, business structures and practices into a process which collaboratively and concurrently harnesses the talents and insights of all participants to reduce waste, and optimize efficiency, through all phases of the design and construction process. IPD requires close collaboration between the Owner, Designers and Builders.
